Luis Márquez was a Doctor in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where he served as Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and director of the Tractors and Tillage Research Group. He was also advisor and testing engineer at the Agricultural Mechanics Station of the Ministry of Agriculture (Spain) from 1972 to 2003. Above all, he was passionate about Agriculture and Agricultural Machinery, and he enjoyed sharing all his knowledge. Throughout his long career, he received numerous awards and recognitions from various agriculture-related organizations.
